Timeless and rustic rug made from 100% hemp. Sumak hemp rug is 140x200cm and is perfect to use in the living room, bedroom or kitchen. The rugs are dyed with 100% natural, organic and azo-free dyes that are derived solely from plants. The dyeing is done before the rug is woven together by hand according to ancient traditional techniques in India. The hand-woven rugs can therefore differ in both shape and color and deviate slightly from the pictures.

Our hemp rugs are made by hand by talented craftsmen in India where they have long traditions and skills in rug weaving. The fiber is extracted from the outer part of the stem of the fast-growing hemp plant. It is a material known to be both dirt-repellent and durable. However, hemp fiber is sensitive to light, and it is good to know that the colour can fade over time if the rug is placed in direct sunlight.

All our rugs in sizes 170x240, 200x300 and 300x400 cm will be delivered to your home during day time. Please note that delivery takes place only on weekdays and to your gate/port. DHL will contact you to schedule the delivery. Please choose "home delivery" as the shipping options at checkout. The smaller rugs are delivered to the nearest DHL service point just as usual.
